Kelly Clarkson - Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)

"Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)" is a song by American recording artist Kelly Clarkson and the title song from her fifth studio album, Stronger. This song is Written by Jörgen Elofsson, Ali Tamposi, and David Gamson, with additional writing and production by Greg Kurstin,

"Stronger" is an uptempo song which draws from the genres of dance-pop and electropop.

This song is about a girl who got dumped by her boyfriend. If I heard about this situation in real life, I would think that this girl is going to be heart broken and waiting for his boyfriend to come back. But in this song, the girl took the disadvantage to an advantage. As the lyrics already said "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger". This means as long as you don't get killed, you will get stronger. Kelly and her band did a great job making this song. It's so encouraging and inspiring. Hearing this song in the morning will get you fired up for the day. The message from this song is straightforward and spot on. There is another lyric that catches my attention. It says Thanks to you I got a new thing started Thanks to you I'm not the broken-hearted Thanks to you I'm finally thinking 'bout me You know in the end the day to left was just my beginning". So in these lyrics the girl was thankful because her boyfriend dumped her and said in the end, the day that her boyfriend dumped her, it was just a beginning for her. Now I know, someone's ending is another's beginning.

My rating of this song would be 8/10 because in my opinion, the weakness of this song is in the music video. Why? because the music video contains more compilation of people dancing than the singing. I think it will be more enjoyable if they create the re-creation of the girl who got dumped by her boyfriend so the viewers know how it feels.
